SIPA's Beltane Celebration!
COME ONE COME ALL CAUSE IT'S FREE AND OPEN TO ALL!!!!!
Come dance the Maypole, make new friends,visit the old,
Eat,drink, be merry, and hear the many stories to be told!
Are leading Lord and lady of the day will be Carrie and Chris Vine. Adding to
the family affair their son Corydon Vine will be leading the kids maypole!
WHEN: Sunday May 2nd 2010
WHERE: Giant city state park shelter 2
Gathering begins at 11:00am
Kids Maypole starts at 12:00pm
Regular Ritual at 1:00pm
Potluck after ritual
To Bring:
*Bring 15 - 20 feet of ribbon for adult maypole.
*5 -10 feet for Kids maypole.
SPECIAL RITUAL ANNOUNCEMENT
* Flowers for the flower exchange. YES WE WILL BE EXCHANGING FLOWERS AS PART OF
RITUAL!!!!!! It can be one flower or a bouquet of flowers. A flower from your
garden or from you very generous neighbors yard. hehe
*Items for potluck/picnic:
Water signs(Scorpio, Pisces, cancer) bring desserts!
Earth signs(Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn)bring drinks
Air signs(Libra, Aquarius, Gemini) bring side dish,
Fire signs(Sagittarius, Aries, Leo) bring main dish
WE WILL BE HAVING OUR SPRING RAFFLE! You can buy tickets there, $1.00 a ticket
or 6 tickets for $5.00. You don't have to be there to win, but it is encouraged.
Because if you win a really cool gift and you're not there it might just go home
with me! ;) Just kidding!
Kids & friendly dogs welcome!
Directions:
Take Rte. 13 to Giant City Rd. (across from Super Walmart) keep going
until you get into the park, turn right at first stop sign, turn left at
T-split, then shelter 2 will be on your right. Look for the signs!
